On October 06, 2023, SROKSTOUNG International School (SSIS) had a great honour to welcome a Professional ELT Management Team from the Department of English of the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), to conduct a workshop under the topics “Communities of Practice of English Language Teachers in Cambodia” and “AI-Assisted Language Teaching.”

The aim of this workshop is to help expand teachers’ knowledge at SSIS to understand more deeply in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT). 

The first topic “Communities of Practice of English Language Teachers in Cambodia” was presented by Prof. Chan Narith Keuk, Head of English Department at IFL, RUPP, with the aim of finding a group of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.

The second topic “AI-Assisted Language Teaching” was presented by Mr. Chantha Lim, lecturer at the English Department at IFL, RUPP. In his presentation, he presented four main useful Apps which can help teachers teach English better and in a fun way.
